illy at Sydney Contemporary 2025: Where Coffee Meets Creativity
illy proudly joined Sydney Contemporary 2025 as the official coffee partner, serving thousands of visitors at Carriageworks.
From 11–14 September, illy was proud to serve as the official coffee partner at Sydney Contemporary 2025, Australia’s leading art fair held at Carriageworks in Eveleigh.
Across four vibrant days, more than 30,000 visitors explored works from 114 galleries and 500 artists. illy brought coffee culture to life through four unique activations: our central bar, the Art Fair Restaurant, the Dumpling Restaurant, and the exclusive VIP Bar. Guests savoured illy classics alongside chilled Cold Brew and the indulgent illycrema, making each illy moment, as memorable as the art itself.
A highlight of the weekend was our collaboration with Studio A, a Sydney-based arts company supporting artists with intellectual disabilities. Their hand-illustrated illy cups transformed every coffee into a canvas, celebrating creativity, inclusivity, and community.
Our involvement in Sydney Contemporary reflects illy’s long-standing belief that coffee and art share the same values: beauty, inspiration, and connection. By bringing coffee moments into an environment of creativity, illy reaffirmed its place as more than just coffee - it’s a cultural experience.
